1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept a variety of secure payment methods to make your checkout process smooth. All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
We currently accept the following:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB.
- Digital Wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay.
We do not accept cash on delivery (COD), personal checks, or money orders.
2. Payment Security (SSL Encryption)
Your security is our top priority. Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with 256-bit encryption to protect your personal and payment data during transmission. You can verify this by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
PCI Compliance:
Labume adheres to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We do not store or have access to your full credit card number or CVV code. All payment transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (such as Shopify Payments and PayPal).
3. Payment Process and Authorization
When will I be charged?
Payment is captured at the time you place your order. Once you hit the “Pay Now” button, your payment provider will authorize the transaction. If the transaction is approved, the funds will be deducted immediately, and you will receive an order confirmation email.
Failed Payments:
If your payment is declined, please check that your billing address matches the address on file with your bank, or try a different payment method. We cannot ship orders until full payment has been confirmed.
4. Taxes
Sales Tax:
Sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local laws. Labume is based in Georgia, and we are required by law to collect sales tax for orders shipping to certain jurisdictions.
International Duties:
For international orders, import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.
5. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks
We strive to provide accurate billing. If you believe there is an error on your billing statement, please contact us immediately at help@Labume.com before filing a chargeback with your bank.
Filing a fraudulent chargeback (claiming you did not make a purchase when you did) is a violation of these terms and may result in your account being blacklisted from future purchases. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with evidence of delivery and order authorization.
6. Order Cancellations
Since we aim for fast shipping (1-3 days processing), we can only accept cancellations within 60 minutes of the order being placed. Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel. Once the order has entered the shipping process or has been handed over to the carrier, it cannot be canceled, and you will need to follow our Return Policy.
